This is the theme of my children’s school’s reflection program for this year. Adrian joined the photography category. This is his first time to join a school contest that’s why we are excited about it.
Ad likes to take pictures of people, places and objects. Many times he makes himself busy with camera and toys. We noticed a picture of plastic cups used during a friend’s birthday party. He got nice shots of different perspectives so he decided that he will just reshoot “the cups”to make a nicer photo.
One day, when the materials were available, Ad excitedly took shots but didn’t get the good one. He had some difficulty balancing the tower that easily topples. When he breathes, walks or any vibration in the house, the tower falls immediately. That was a bad day for his him coz he didn’t get the output he wanted.
The next day, he continued to experiment on his cups. Working alone is best for him because he gets the concentration he needs. He was not destructed by his sister. His creative juice is being squeezed. The tower was ready for the shot but clicking on the camera, this came out.
Triangles by Adrian Resubal
After a lesson in Geometry, Adrian made a bitmap of different types of triangles. As you can see, he made equilateral, isosceles and scalene triangles in different presentations and sizes to come up with a simple geometric art. He is fond of exploring Geometry. Part of his exercises is learning how to program in GWBasic. Of course, the proponent of that was his Dad.
